OUR STORY

The story of Wolverine Dermatology is a story of service.  Service above self to our great nation, through times of war.

Our founding physician, Dr. Ryan Freeland is a 16-year veteran of our United States Air Force.  Over four unique assignments, Dr. Freeland deployed 10 times including five combat tours as a Flight Surgeon.  His medical skill was honed and his patriotism was galvanized in some unique and even extreme circumstances while caring for our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines whether in the States or on the battlefields of war.

Dr. Freeland trained at the San Antonio Military Health Consortium and later served on teaching faculty at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.  Dr. Freeland served our great country with excellence and distinction and has chosen to spend his professional career caring for the communities that raised him in West Michigan.  He vows on behalf of his team at Wolverine Dermatology to relentlessly pour their professional efforts into caring for you and your family.

Dr. Freeland hopes that you feel welcomed, respected, dignified, and cared for from the moment you walk through our doors.  It is his sincere hope that you will see the uniqueness of the family-oriented environment as well as the values of their entirely Veteran-owned business.

If you are considering Wolverine Dermatology for the care of your skin, please know that our entire team looks forward to caring for you!
